Arsenal Defeats West Ham, Closer To Champions League Football

Goals from centre-halves Rob Holding and Gabriel gave Arsenal a deserved 2-1 away win against a resilient West Ham at the London stadium on Sunday evening reports Prime Business Africa.

United did get one goal for themselves through Jared Bowen while Holding’s goal was his of the Premier League.

Arsenal will next Sunday play against Leeds United at home while Spurs will face Liverpool.

Should the Gunners defeat Leeds United as most would expect and Liverpool do the business in their clash against Spurs, Arsenal will be above their north London side by five points and almost guaranteed of a place in the Champions League spots irrespective of what happens in the remaining games.

Meanwhile Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted that his team won ugly in the match with the Irons and gave a heartwarming injury update on Takehiro Tomiyasu revealing that his injury in Sunday’s match was not as serious as first thought.
