Political Office Holders Won’t Vote At National Convention - APC

After a bout of crisis in the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC), it has finally released forms for national offices of the party ahead of the March 26 National Convention.

According to the schedule of activities for the national convention as set by the acting national chairman, Abubakar Sani Bello, the sale of forms started on Monday 14 March and will last till Friday March, 18, 2022.

As indicated in the schedule, a copy of which was made available to Prime Business Africa, office of the national chairman goes for N20 million, while that of deputy national chairman is sold at N10 million, zonal chairmen (National Vice chairmen), N5 million, and other offices N5 million.

Female and physically challenged aspirants are to pay 50 per cent of the prescribed fees for each position.

Other activities lined up for the convention include screening of aspirants on Saturday 19th March, 2022, Screening Appeal on Tuesday 22nd March, 2022, Accreditation, Thursday 24th – Friday 25th March, 2022, Saturday 26th March, 2022, Convention, Tuesday 29th March, 2022, Convention Appeal Wednesday, 30h March, 2022, Adoption of Appeal Report, and Thursday 31st March, 2022, Inauguration of elected party officers.
