EditorNOLLYWOOD actor and ace broadcaster, Patrick Doyle, has described the ongoing Anambra elections as a day the political temperature of the south-east will be ascertained.
According to Doyle, the state has the repeated capacity of throwing up quality candidates, therefore, Ndi Anambra must vote wisely because the performance of their government rests heavily on their decisions.
Speaking on the mode of voting at the elections, the veteran commended INEC for being very progressive in the deployment of technology with the current electronic transmission, encouraging citizens to embrace change because the INEC is set to eliminate human error and snatching of ballot boxes.
Doyle further encouraged the citizens to take voting seriously, if they want to see the change they seek in government.
In his words, “the practical instruments to make change happen is the votes of the people. If you want to see practical change, you must come out and vote.”
Doyle who has started on over 100 movies commended those with voter cards, urging them to be very discerning about whom “they give their cards to” in the ongoing exercise.
