All To Know About Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Visit To Nigeria

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have embarked on a journey to Nigeria, marking their first visit to the African nation as a couple. Their arrival in Abuja was met with an outpour of love from fans.

The reason for their 72-hour tour is to promote the Invictus Games, a cause close to Prince Harry’s heart. Organized at the invitation of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, the couple’s itinerary includes engagements aimed at interacting with wounded soldiers and their families. Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis, Director of Sports at the Defence Headquarters, emphasized the positive impact of the visit on the soldiers’ recovery efforts, highlighting their resilience and optimism in the face of adversity.

Their first engagement at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja was followed by a visit to a military hospital in Kaduna, where they met with wounded soldiers, offering support and encouragement.

From playing with schoolchildren to attending basketball and polo games, Prince Harry and Meghan are committed to using their platform to make a positive impact.
