Adekunle Ajasin Varsity Relaunches Bethel Radio

The Nigerian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES) Associates Forum of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State has relaunched her national online radio broadcast, Bethel Radio.

The relaunch came after the present associates agreed upon several deliberations to push further the vision of the evangelical fellowship and promote the kingdom business to the ends of the earth.

The insight was birthed and concluded after the official inauguration of the admirable media crew of the Christian Association, which comprises 11 associates.

The 11-man committee members include Ademola Ogunsakin, Olanike Akinrimisi, Gideon Oluseyi, Adeyanju Adenike, Eunice Afeni, and Atomode Esther. Others are Ewegbemi Babatunde, Odewoye Micheal, Afolabi M. Gbolahan, Ademofe Adeyinka, and Oladapo Olaogbebikan.

According to the lead associate of the media crew, Associate Oladapo Olaogbebikan, “The newly relaunched radio, Bethel Radio would kick off with three major programmes on the audio online broadcast channel, Mixlr via nifesaauaalumniforum channel, with an aim to expand its coverage on other channels and platforms soon.

“Every Friday from 7 pm to 10 pm, Bethel Radio would air Songs of Spirit where diverse spiritual and soul-lifting songs would be broadcast.”

In the same vein, “Every Sunday, Bethel Radio, through the same channel, would broadcast Bethel Delight. This programme is a variety of segments ranging from interviews, call-ins, bible trivia, shout-outs, fastest fingers, business promotions of both students and associates, special request of songs and lots more,” he noted.

Olaogbebikan reiterated the continuation of the monthly programme, Alpha and Omega, which holds every first day of the month by 6 am.

The inauguration led by the forum president, Associate Olabode Samuel Akinrimisi, took place via a virtual platform on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 9 pm and ended at 10 pm.

Meanwhile, the forum president expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the entire fellowship for the initiative and also encouraged the newly inaugurated media crew.

He said, “I am excited for this new giant step in the body. Without any doubt, we know that this would be a success. More importantly, this would serve as a platform to unite all Nifesians, both students and associates. It would also create an opportunity for members to advertise their businesses.”

The closed virtual meeting was gracefully welcomed by all members present.

It would be recalled that Bethel Radio was initially launched in July 2022 to serve the spirit and souls of all members of the association.
