Ultimum Beverages Limited has officially commissioned a multimillion-dollar production facility in Aba, marking a landmark investment that reaffirms Abia State as a thriving hub for industry and innovation.
The facility, developed by the Kadji Group, was unveiled by Governor Alex Otti on March 25, 2026, at the Osisioma Industrial Layout in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area.
The state-of-the-art plant represents an initial commitment of over $35 million, with plans to expand to $100 million. It serves as the company’s main production hub for its Razzl brand of carbonated soft drinks, including Pamplemousse, Cola, Orange, and Lemon.

He added that since May 2023, the administration has worked to reset the business ecosystem by strengthening infrastructure, restoring security, and creating a supportive environment for investors.

Officials say the facility is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs in production, administration, distribution, and related services, while stimulating opportunities for suppliers, logistics operators, wholesalers, and retailers within the value chain.
The plant is built with modern technology designed to meet international quality standards, improve production efficiency, and enhance product availability across the South‑East, South‑South, and other Nigerian regions. Analysts say the commissioning reinforces Aba’s reputation as a commercial and manufacturing centre and highlights Abia’s renewed appeal to private investors.
Governor Otti extended gratitude to the Kadji Group for their confidence in Aba’s entrepreneurial spirit, stating: “Together, we will protect and nurture every investment that brings prosperity to our people. Abia is rising. Abia is ready. Abia is open for business.”
Ultimum Beverages’ leadership emphasized that the project reflects both confidence in Nigeria’s future and alignment with Abia State’s industrial development strategy, with the first phase set to drive sustainable growth in the region.
