The highlight of the event was the presentation of an Award to Mr. Augustus Reuben, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the school’s development. In a humble interview, Mr. Augustus expressed surprise and gratitude for the recognition. He attributed his success to going the extra mile for his students, diligently completing the curriculum, and providing valuable guidance and support.

Mr. Augustus Reuben shared, “I always try to complete the scheme of work and go beyond the required to ensure my students receive the best education. I am also there for them outside of regular school hours, offering advice and assistance whenever needed.”

In a thoughtful gesture, he urged fellow teachers to put their best efforts into their teaching, recognizing the profound impact educators have on shaping young lives. He also called upon the government and school owners to enhance the teaching profession by employing qualified teachers and offering better remuneration.

He emphasized, “My advice to other teachers is to give their best in their profession because rewards may come unexpectedly. I also hope that the government and school owners prioritize the employment of qualified teachers, considering both subject knowledge and character during the selection process.”
