Plateau Peacocks Win Big On Day 9 of Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 Phase 1

Plateau Peacocks got the biggest win of Matchday 9 as they defeated Bayelsa Queens, Monday, at the Ardova Handball Premier League 2022 phase 1 in Benin City, Edo State.

Peacocks, the 2018 champion, comfortably tore apart Bayelsa Queens to win 30-15 and maintain their top 4 status in the category league.

Safety Babes continue their dominance of the league as they defeated Delta Force 29-18 while Seasider Babes of Lagos earned a big victory as they defeated 25-16.

Imo Grasshoppers continue to falter which disappointingly as they lost to and enterprising Rima Queens side 29-23 while Defender Babes will remain in the top 3 following their 30-23 over Bendel Dynamos.

In the men category, defending champion Kano Pillars came back to winning ways after defeating De Defenders 28-21 while Safety Shooters earned a comfortable 30-20 victory over Police Machine.

Tojemarine Academy lost their lead of the league after losing to Confluence Stars 30-24 while Niger United now lead the league as they earned a comfortable 28-21 victory.

Lagos Seasider won the hearts of fans as they fought tooth and nail to defeat Rima Strikers with a 31-30 victory while Benue Buffaloes and Correction Boys, who were the giant killers on day 8 of the league, played out an interesting 28-28 draw.
