JUST IN: Peseiro Replaces Injured Balogun With Ozornwafor For Algeria Friendly

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has replaced QPR defender Leon Balogun with former youth international Valentine Ozornwafor in the team released for the September 27 international friendly against former African champions Algeria reports Prime Business Africa.

The former Glasgow Rangers central defender copped an injury Saturday evening in a Championship game against Stoke City which ended goalless.

Ozornwafor has been capped three times in the Super Eagles and is favored to be in the team with the injury to Balogun as he is left footed which brings some balance to the backline.
