Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly keen to have his client play for a top side in Europe with six days left in the summer transfer window.

The latest effort made by the influential super agent is to convince SS Napoli to let Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen move to Manchester United so that Ronaldo will sign for Napoli and play in the Champions League.

Ronaldo started from the bench in United’s 1-0 win over Southampton at the Saint Mary’s Stadium on Saturday but there were no updates on the Napoli situation.
