Arsenal Completes £30m Signing Of Zinchenko From Man City

Arsenal on Friday evening confirmed the signing of Manchester City midfielder cum left back Oleksandr Zinchenko for a fee in the region of £30million.

The Ukraine captain had worked with  Mikel Arteta when the latter was the assistant manager whilst at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

The Gunners have raided City this summer with the acquisition of striker Gabriel Jesus for £45million.

Zinchenko was seemingly Arsenal’s backup plan after their efforts to sign Ajax’s Lisandro Martinez proved unsuccessful as the Argentine preferred Manchester United where he will reunite with former head coach Eric ten Hag
