Falz has shown his interest in the governance of Nigeria and has been vocal about the state of the country and on Monday began a free concert at the Tafewa Balewa Square with the PVCs or temporary voters slips the admission for fans.

The concert is geared towards encouraging and sensitising the electorate especially the youth to get their PVCs and ‘take back their country’ in 2023.

Nigeria’s showbiz superstars have remained vocal over the political tension in parts of the country especially in terms of insecurities.

Following the attack on worshippers at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state on Sunday, Falz expressed disgust on his social media handles.

“So many different emotions, but mostly anger and Frustration. Sick to my stomach” Falz wrote.

Online content creator and comedian Macaroni asked:

“How can you kill people like this? Like their lives mean nothing. What Should happen to their Families and Love One’s?, They is no Justification for this Madness.”

Singer Davido asked the General Public to put Nigeria in their prayers and asked for divine intervention.

“Jesus pls take Control, Y’all needs to pray For Nigeria. Rip to all the lost souls”.
