Following heavy military assault on Ukraine by Russian forces leading to evacuation of people from the country, Nigerian Embassy in Romania has made arrangements to receive the nationals.
According to a public notice issued by the Nigerian embassy in Bucharest, capital of Romania on Saturday February 26, the nationals arriving from Ukraine are to be received at four entry points to the Eastern European country.
The embassy listed contact persons who have been deployed to the four entry points to Romania, and directed those arriving from Ukraine to contact them.

It also provided embassy hotlines and emails for contact and advised the affected Nigerian nationals to ensure they arrive at entry points with valid documents and cooperate with Romanian Immigration Officers at the border.
“This arrangement is in adition to those already put in place by the Romanian authorties to welcome evacuated/ repatriated nationals of every citizen from Ukraine,” the embassy added.
It also urged the affected nationals to disregard any information not contained in its official website.
