The meeting, Prime Business Africa gathered, was hosted by Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.

All  five APC governors of the region were present at the meeting to congratulate Senator Adamu. The sixth state of the North Central is controlled by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), led by  Governor Samuel Loraer Ortom.

Recall that the APC officially ceded the chairmanship position  to North Central, months after Prime Business Africa accurately revealed  the zoning plans.

Adamu was Tuesday evening  seen in the company of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and his colleagues.

Photographs showed Senator Adamu exchanging banters with Governors Bello,  AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara);  Simon Lalong (Plateau); Abubakar Sani Bello (Niger) and Abdullahi Sule of  Nasarawa State.

” He is chosen,” an influential member of the caucus told Prime Business Africa early Wednesday morning.

He later posed for photographs with the five governors after what looked like an endorsement meeting at the Governor’s Lodge, Abuja.
