Air Peace has announced a significant expansion of its domestic operations, increasing flight frequencies and seat capacity across several high-demand routes as part of its Summer 2026 schedule.
The enhanced schedule, which takes effect on June 22, is designed to meet growing passenger demand while improving connectivity between major commercial and regional centres across Nigeria.
Under the revised schedule, the airline will operate up to seven daily flights between Lagos and Abuja, four daily services between Lagos and Owerri, and three daily flights on the Lagos-Asaba route. Additional capacity has also been deployed on the Lagos-Benin, Lagos-Warri, Lagos-Enugu, Abuja-Owerri and Abuja-Asaba routes.

The move is expected to provide travellers with greater flexibility, more convenient departure times and improved access to destinations across the airline’s domestic network, particularly during the peak summer travel season.
Air Peace said the expanded operations would be supported by its fleet of next-generation aircraft, increasing available seats while enhancing operational efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort.
According to the airline, the decision to increase frequencies is driven by rising travel demand and its commitment to offering customers more travel options at competitive fares.
“As travel demand continues to rise during the summer season, we are strategically increasing capacity and frequencies on key domestic routes to better serve our customers,” the airline said in a statement.
The carrier added that the additional flights would provide improved travel options for both business and leisure passengers, while strengthening links between key economic centres across the country.
Beyond improving passenger convenience, the expansion is expected to support economic activity by facilitating business travel, boosting tourism and enhancing trade and investment opportunities. Industry analysts note that stronger air connectivity plays a critical role in driving regional economic integration and improving access to emerging markets.
