Fidelity Bank Plc has taken a significant step towards environmental preservation and sustainable development by partnering with Greenfingers Wildlife Initiative to plant trees at Elegushi Beach, Lekki, Lagos.
This initiative, part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Fidelity Helping Hands Programme (FHHP), was funded and administered by the bank’s newly inducted employees, known as the Vault Class.

Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, Divisional Head, Brand and Communications, Fidelity Bank Plc, emphasized the bank’s commitment to environmental preservation, stating, “Environmental preservation is a key CSR pillar for us at Fidelity Bank. We believe that protecting the earth is a shared responsibility”.
The tree planting exercise, accompanied by a beach clean-up, aims to promote sustainable living, combat climate change, protect biodiversity, and conserve aquatic ecosystems. This initiative demonstrates Fidelity Bank’s resolve to consistently champion environmental conservation efforts, aligning with its partnership with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF).
