SpurrEnergy Expands to Partner Ghana’s 200 MW Norbert Anku Solar Project

 SgurrEnergy, a global renewable energy engineering consultancy is  strengthening  its presence in West Africa with its emergence as the lead technical consultant for Ghana’s 200 MW Norbert Anku Solar Project.

The appointment adds to SgurrEnergy’s growing African portfolio, where it has already supported more than 6 GW of renewable energy projects across Sierra Leone, South Africa, Somalia, Togo, Ivory Coast, Malawi, and Nigeria, while continuing to expand aggressively across new markets.

As part of this project, SgurrEnergy is providing comprehensive engineering leadership across the full development lifecycle. Its scope includes the Technical Feasibility Study, EPC technical specifications, and contract documentation, followed by detailed engineering reviews, project execution support, project acceptance, and independent inspections of PV modules and BoS components. The engagement also includes capacity-building and training for local teams, as well as a detailed review of the PPA to ensure alignment between projected generation, contractual obligations, and grid performance.
