Peterside’s New Books Spark Leadership Dialogue as NLS, PH Club Host Public Reading

The Port Harcourt Club, in partnership with the Nigerian Literary Society (NLS), will host a special literary event with Dr. Dakuku Peterside on December 7, 2025.

The session will feature readings, discussions, and a book signing of his acclaimed works, Beneath The Surface and Leading In The Storm, moderated by Alekiri Maureen Amadi-Ejimofor and Awolanye Banigo.

Since their launches in Abuja and Lagos, Dr. Peterside’s books have received international praise from Harvard and Kellogg scholars, governors, diplomats, and business leaders, highlighting his influence in leadership, crisis management, and governance.

A former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Peterside now serves as a fellow at the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja. His research explores leadership legacy, crisis management, and the intersection of policy and business.

Organizers say the event will offer a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with Dr. Peterside’s ideas and gain practical insights into effective leadership in today’s complex environment.
