Ekwunife, Duru Congratulate Soludo on Re-election

Two prominent political figures in Anambra State – Senator Uche Ekwunife and Nze Chidi Duru have congratulated Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election, calling for unity and collective commitment to the state’s progress.

In a statement issued on Monday, Senator Uche Ekwunife, the APC deputy governorship candidate, expressed gratitude to her supporters for their commitment throughout the election period. She acknowledged the outcome of the poll while praising the “faith, unity and hope” demonstrated by those who backed her and her principal, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.

Ekwunife urged Ndi Anambra to prioritise the peace and development of the state, adding that Soludo’s victory should serve as an opportunity for all stakeholders to work together.

“I extend my warm congratulations to His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, on his victory and re-election for a second term. I sincerely wish him success in leading Anambra to greater heights,” she said.

In a separate message, Nze Chidi Duru, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, also hailed Soludo’s victory, describing it as a reaffirmation of the governor’s “visionary leadership” and reform-driven approach to governance.

He said the renewed mandate provides Soludo an opportunity to build on the gains of his first tenure and deliver deeper developmental impact across Anambra State.

“I wish you greater strength, wisdom, and divine guidance to continue steering Anambra toward greater progress and shared prosperity,” Duru concluded.

Governor Soludo, who secured a second term in the just-concluded election, has continued to receive congratulatory messages from political leaders and stakeholders across the state.
