Voting was largely peaceful, with security agencies deployed across polling units to ensure smooth conduct. INEC reported that over 95% of polling unit results were uploaded to its results viewing portal (IreV) by early Sunday.

The victory cements APGA’s dominance in the state and ensures continuity in Soludo’s policies and developmental agenda. Analysts note that the robust performance of electronic result transmission could enhance public confidence in the transparency of future elections.

With the election now concluded, attention turns to how opposition parties will strategize ahead of future polls, while the state prepares for the formal inauguration of its re-elected governor.
