The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of a nightclub owned by popular entertainer and socialite, Mike Nwalie, widely known as Pretty Mike, over allegations of its use for drug storage and distribution.
Justice Musa Kakaki issued the order on Tuesday following an ex parte application filed by counsel to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mr. Buhari Abdulahi.
The property, situated at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, and operating under the name Proxy Lagos Night Club, was allegedly being used as a hub for storing and distributing controlled substances, including 169 cylinders containing 384.662 kilograms of nitrous oxide (commonly known as laughing gas) and 200 grams of cannabis sativa.

In an affidavit presented by Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Nasiru Garba Bungudu, the agency said it received credible intelligence in October 2025 about the planned drug party. Acting on the tip-off, NDLEA operatives from the Lagos Strategic Command reportedly raided the premises around midnight on October 26, recovering the substances and arresting more than 200 individuals, including the two alleged owners.
Subsequent laboratory analyses confirmed that the seized materials were controlled drugs. The NDLEA also alleged that the nightclub had previously been linked to similar drug-related incidents carried out with the knowledge and consent of its proprietors.
After reviewing the evidence, Justice Kakaki granted the agency’s motion, ordering the interim forfeiture of the property to the Federal Government. The court also directed that operations at the nightclub remain suspended pending further investigation and hearing.
The case was adjourned to January 28, 2026, for continuation of proceedings.
