FBI Releases Video Of Charlie Kirk Shooting

The search for the suspect in the killing of right-wing political influencer Charlie Kirk has intensified as the FBI released new video footage showing a “person of interest” fleeing across a rooftop after the shooting. Despite more than 7,000 tips, no suspect has been named, and no arrests have been made as the manhunt enters its third day.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox has appealed to the public for help in identifying the suspect:

“We have people all over the country trying to bring this perpetrator to justice. We pray that God will bless our nation at this very dark time. We can start healing by finding this perpetrator and holding him accountable. And we need your help to do that.”

Utah’s head of public safety, Beau Mason, admitted investigators still have no clear idea of the suspect’s whereabouts:

“We have no idea,” he told MSNBC. “We’re exploring leads both in-state and across the country. Tips are coming in far and wide.”

FBI Faces Criticism Over Press Silence

The FBI has also faced backlash after Director Kash Patel refused to answer questions during a press conference, despite earlier confusion over whether the suspect had been arrested.

US correspondent James Matthews noted the decision not to take questions has only raised concerns about the pace and transparency of the investigation.

“A news conference without questions isn’t reassuring to the public,” Matthews said. “The FBI started confident, but a lack of early progress is now raising doubts.”

What Happens Next

As the manhunt continues, authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could help capture the suspect. The FBI says its investigation remains the agency’s top priority.
