The Nigerian stock market capitalisation grew by N1.18 trillion on Wednesday, June 18, increasing from N72.49 trillion, reported on Tuesday, June 17, to N73.68 trillion.

Also, the all-share index (ASI) increased from 114,910.16 ASI to 116,786.87 ASI, reflecting an increase of 1,876.71 basis points.

Over 640.08 million shares were exchanged by investors in 19,727 deals, worth N26.01 billion, compared to the previous day’s 787.30 million shares traded in 23,170 deals, worth N25.66 billion,

Top five gainers

  • NEM Insurance’s share price increased by N1.50 kobo to rise from N15 to N16.50 kobo per share.
  • Beta Glass’ share value grew by N485.60 kobo, from N228.15 kobo to N250.95 kobo per share.
  • Seplat ended trading at N5450 per share, from N4964.40 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N485.60 kobo.
  • Thomas Wyatt gained N0.18 kobo to end trading at N2.03, having opened with N1.85 kobo.
  • Linkage Assurance’s share value was up by N0.13 kobo, after closing at N1.49 kobo from N1.36 kobo per share.

  • Eterna’s share price depreciated by N4.30 kobo, dwindling from N43 to N38.70 kobo per share.
  • NSLTECH recorded a 9.68 percent decline in its share price to end trading at N0.56 kobo after opening with N0.62 kobo per share.
