Tinubu, who arrived at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Makurdi, the State capital, at about 1 pm, went straight to the hospital where the survivors are receiving treatment.

After leaving the hospital, the president reportedly went to the Benue State Government House’s new banquet hall, where he is expected to meet with important state stakeholders as a result of the deadly attacks.

Invaders reportedly attacked the people of Yelwata after storming the town early in the morning and dividing into groups to break into the community from various directions.

During President Bola Tinubu’s condolence visit to the State, students braved the rain by lining up in the streets to welcome him.

As the presidential convoy moved through the streets, the students were seen in a video singing the national anthem while drums played in the background.

The state government declared a public holiday for the president’s visit.
