Nollywood actress and reality TV star, Annie Macaulay, stepped out in style at the Headies on Sunday, even as she counted her blessings despite crashed marriage to legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia.
The mother of two described her two kids as her support system after the 12-year-old union with 2Baba hit the rocks early in January this year.

Speaking in pidgin, she said, “You mean my children? My children dey Kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”
During introduction, Annie left no one in doubt that she has indeed moved on after the marriage debacle as she made ridicule of her former name saying, “My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. stopping short of asking Idi-Wetin? be adding Hey, Single Ladies!
The shout out to the single ladies, has been interpreted in some quarters as a mild announcement that she has technically become one of them.
Recall that Annie yanked off ‘Idibia’ from her name following the crash of her marriage with 2Baba of the African Queen fame.

In a typical one man’s meat another’s poison scenario, Politician and Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru the new first lady of 2Baba dynasty quickly picked and attached Idibia to her name.
Her lovey-dovey union with the popular Idoma-born singer has since gone beyond the elbow with introduction to Idoma elders done and traditional wedding signed sealed and delivered.
Above all, a re-union of the family, especially with Madam Rose Idibia, has also taken place thus closing the Annie era and opening a new chapter in Natasha era.
