Meet Abiodun Alabi The New Lagos Police Commissioner

The Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Usman Baba on Friday confirmed the appointment of Abiodun Alabi to take over the reins of security in the state from Hakeem Odumosu as Lagos State Commissioner.
Alabi’s appointment comes in the wake of the promotion of his predecessor Odumosu who is now an Assistant Inspector General of Police whose appointment was ratified in December 2021. Odumosu was promoted with five other Police Commissioners.
CP Abiodun Sylvester Alabi will officially report at his duty post on Monday, 24 January 2022.
Alabi whose retirement from the NPF is billed for 31 December 2024 is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management and Fellow of National Defence College Abuja.
