Sanwo-Olu Visits Magodo Estate, Invites Parties For Talks

Gov Sanwo-Olu visits Magodo residence

In an attempt to intervene in the lingering land dispute at Magodo Phase Two Estate, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited the area on Tuesday.

During the visit, the governor invited all parties involved in the dispute for a meeting in his office on Wednesday (tomorrow).   

Residents of Magodo Estate had earlier in the day, staged a protest over the presence of policemen in the area apparently making attempts to enforce Supreme Court judgment.

Court bailiffs had also sealed some properties in the estate in the enforcement of the Supreme Court judgment.

The residents during the protest converged in front of the estate and displayed various placards lamenting over the situation and seeking the Lagos State government’s intervention.
