Learn the steps to register for JAMB 2025/2026. Get your NIN, create a profile, acquire your ePIN, and finalize your registration for a smooth exam process.

With the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) set to begin registration for the 2025/2026 examination cycle, prospective candidates need to be well-informed about the registration process. The journey starts with obtaining your National Identification Number (NIN) and then following a series of steps to ensure successful registration.

How to Begin Your JAMB 2025/2026 Registration

To begin, you must first get your National Identification Number (NIN) at any NIMC centre. Once you have this, visit the official JAMB portal at www.jamb.gov.ng.

On the website, create your profile by providing your NIN, a valid email address, and your phone number.

Profile Verification and ePIN Acquisition

After creating your profile, you will receive a confirmation code via SMS and email. Use this code to verify your profile. The next step is obtaining an ePIN, which is required for the registration.

You can purchase your ePIN from authorised banks such as Zenith, Access, and FirstBank, or you can obtain it through online platforms or USSD codes. The ePIN costs N3,500 and is valid for one-time use only.

Submitting Your Documents at a CBT Centre

Once you have your ePIN, it’s time to visit a JAMB-approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre. At the CBT centre, submit your ePIN, NIN, O’level results, passport photograph, and any other required documents.
