Former American President, Barack Obama, is walking the talk and leading by example ahead of the November 5 Presidential election.
Obama who has been campaigning vigorously for fellow democrat and flag bearer of the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, returned to his home town Chicago to send his vote via mail.

He then urged his neighbours to make sure they vote, saying “I voted by mail – it was easy and a great excuse to say hi to some neighbours. If you’re voting by mail like me, get your ballot in the mail right away. No matter how you vote, make sure you have a plan and get it done”, he said
There are reports that nearly 25 million Americans have already voted, less than two weeks to the D-day.
Meanwhile, Obama and Harris teamed up in the key battleground state of Georgia on Thursday, making their first joint appearance less in the course of the campaigns leading to the Nov. 5 presidential election.

Both stressed the importance of putting new blood into the Oval Office, pointing out the nearly two-decade gap between Trump, 78, the Republican nominee, and Harris, 60, the Democratic nominee.
“There is an overwhelming call for a fresh start, for a new generation of leadership that is optimistic and excited about what we can do together,” said Harris. “There is a yearning for a president of the United States who will see you, who gets you, and who will fight for you.”
Harris addressed issues directly affecting Americans and how she would deal with solving them, including her plan for reducing the costs of groceries, prescription medication, housing and household necessities.
