Nigerian Govt Organises Training For Youths On Metal Fabrication

Nigerian government through the Ministry of Steel Development has called for applications from youths including existing and aspiring artisans for a one-month intensive boot-camp training programme on metal fabrication.

A statement signed by Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Chris Osa Isokpunwu, said the aim of the training is to empower Nigerian youths with advanced technical skills in Welding & Fabrication, Industrial Foundry & Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Systems Control & Mechanical Maintenance.

Benefits

Highlighting the benefits of the training, the Ministry said successful applicants will have the opportunity of expert training and mentorship, equipment support for business growth, job creation and sustainable livelihoods.

Eligibility

It said Nigerian Youths between the ages of 18 to 40 who are interested in engaging productively in the metals industry can apply for the training that will last for one month.
