Prof Lilian Oby Orogbu, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka has lost her mother, Deaconess Betty Chikwere Okeke.

Deaconess Okeke passed away on Tuesday, 28 September 2021 at the age of 71.

She will be buried on 6 January 2022 by 10 am at her country home, 26 Ngene Street, Amawbia in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

She is survived by Prof Orogbu among other illustrious children.

Orogbu, a Professor of Strategic Human Resource Management, is an accomplished administrator and has served in many capacities in the university including being head of the Department of Business Administration, Unizik.
