#EdoDecides2024: Ighodalo Wins His Polling Unit

Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Edo State governorship election, Asue Ighodalo, has won his polling unit.

Ighodalo garnered 200 votes at his polling unit 11, ward 1, in Ewohimi, Esan south-east LGA, where he cast his ballot, defeating other opponents.

According to the presiding officer, who announced the result, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo polled 45 votes.

The PDP candidate also defeated candidate of the Labour Party, Olumide Akpata, in his polling unit.

According to the vote tally, Ighodalo scored 41 votes to defeat the former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), who polled 32 votes, while Okpebholo got 19 votes at polling unit 11, ward 06, Oredo LGA in Benin.
