Breaking: Borno State Finance Commissioner Found Dead in His Residence

Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the Borno State Commissioner for Finance, has been found dead in his residence. He is the second serving government officer Borno State would lose in one year after Isa Gusau, Governor Zulum’s media aide.  The circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated, as details remain sketchy at the time of filing this report.

Sources close to the situation reported that the commissioner was discovered dead in his room on Monday morning after concerns were raised when he did not come out at his usual time. His door was subsequently forced open, revealing his lifeless body.

“It is with deep sadness that we report the untimely death of our commissioner,” a source close to the situation revealed.

This tragic event marks the second loss within Governor Babagana Zulum’s cabinet in just one year, adding to the challenges faced by the administration.
