SOME Nigeria players were in action for their European clubs Thursday evening in the group of UEFA club competitions, the UEFA Europa League and the Conference League, reports Prime Business Africa.

Olympaiakos forward Henry Onyekuru made a telling impact, setting up his team’s goal at home in a 2-1 defeat to Eintrach Frankfort in the Europa League.

Leon Balogun scored an own goal at the Cegaka Arena as Rangers were held in the 1-1 draw against West Ham at home. Joe Aribo played for 90 minutes while Calvin Bassey came off the substitute bench to ensure the Nigerian contingent at Rangers all tasted action.
