Children’s Day: Be Role Models To Your Wards, Anambra Police Commissioner, Itam, Urges Parents, Guardians

Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, has urged parents/guardians to be better role models to their children/wards, by creating a deliberate relationship with them as it will help to assess and direct them properly.

CP Itam made the call as he joined  state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, and  Anambra people generally, to celebrate the 2024 Children’s Day on the theme: “Enhancing the total wellbeing of the Nigerian Child through quality Education and Skills Development” at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka on Monday.

The CP further encouraged the good people of Anambra State to sustain the message of peace and make deliberate efforts by standing up against any acts that threaten national unity and public peace.

The highlights of the event included a match pass by School Children and Police schoolchildren, the presentation of gifts to winners of the match pass, a Cutting of cake by the Governor and his wife, and a Cultural display by the school Children, among others.
