Wigwe: Flying In Bad Weather Wrong, Says US Aviation Lawyer

A US aviation lawyer, Robert Clifford, has said that the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of Access Holdings’ Group CEO, Herbert Wigwe, and others in California could have been prevented.

Clifford, known for his involvement in aviation cases, emphasized that taking off in difficult weather conditions was a risky decision.

He stated: “The crash of a helicopter that killed six people… strikes one as a tragedy that may have been avoided given the known weather conditions at that time.”

The crash, which claimed the lives of Wigwe, his family, and other prominent Nigerians, occurred amid challenging weather conditions, prompting questions about the decision to fly.
