Breaking: NCC Directs MTN to Cut off Globacom Due to Unpaid Debt

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has given the green light for MTN to partially disconnect Globacom over of Globacom’s refusal to settle interconnect debt.

This partial disconnection means that customers of Globacom won’t be able to call any MTN numbers. However, Glo users can still receive calls from MTN customers.

The NCC made this information public through a notice issued on Monday. As per the regulatory body, Globacom has been given a 10-day notice starting from January 8 before the disconnection is put into effect.
