Court of Appeal Upholds Uba Sani's Victory In Kaduna Election

The Court of Appeal in Abuja upheld Uba Sani’s position as the Governor of Kaduna State, dismissing the challenge posed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Isa Ashiru.

The three-member panel highlighted critical errors in the Tribunal’s decision, emphasizing the reliance on inadmissible evidence that led to the call for supplementary polls in 22 polling units across four local government areas.

The appellate judges underscored that the allegations of vote deductions, ballot box stuffing, and tampering with electoral materials lacked substantiation and were deemed as hearsay, thus holding no weight in the case.
