Addressing NIPOST’s management staff, Odeyemi stated, “I came to build on the commendable work of my predecessors, my aspirations are not only to solidify NIPOST’s status as a leading Postal Operator. As I assume this role, I also want to make NIPOST a world-class e-commerce and logistics hub.” She emphasized the importance of cooperation from the staff to provide postal services that cater to the needs of Nigerians across the country.

In addition to her vision, Odeyemi expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and promised to lead NIPOST into a new era of innovation, modernization, and transformation, aligning with the president’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda.’

Stakeholders within the industry have welcomed Odeyemi’s appointment, with Oluwaseun Dania, CEO of Alpha-Geek Technologies, praising her extensive background in technology policy, government regulation, and her distinguished roles in global companies like Uber and Binance.

Dania believes Odeyemi’s expertise uniquely positions her to lead NIPOST toward technological advancement and operational excellence, in line with the goals set out by the Minister for Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani.

This appointment symbolizes a future-forward governance approach for NIPOST, according to industry stakeholders.
