2022 World Cup Qualifiers: 15 Super Eagles Stars Expected In Tangier Camp Monday Ahead Of Liberia Clash

Super Eagles camp in Tangier, Morocco is expected to come alive Monday evening as players and the technical crew arrive for Saturday’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia, Prime Business Africa reports.
According to a communique by the Communications Department of the Nigeria Football Federation, the team’s arrival is scheduled to start on Monday in Morocco which is the temporary home of the Liberian team after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) disapproved of their stadium in Monrovia.
“The invited (Eagles) players and oversees-based members of the technical crew are to report directly to the city of Tangier on Monday, November 8, while the technical officials from Nigeria are to report in Tangier same day,” the communique stated.
Players expected on camp today include Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia striker Odion Ighalo – who is making a return to the side – two years after his retirement from international football, CSKA Moscow’s Chidera Ejuke who was in actin over the weekend in his team’s 4-1 defeat of FC Sochi in the Russian Premier League.
The UK based contingent; Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, William Troost Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and Frank Onyeka will come Monday evening.
Jamilu Collins, Kevin Akpogoma, and the goalkeeping duo of Maduka Okoye and Daniel Akpeyi and Kenneth Omeruo will come into camp as well as Enyimba goalkeeper, John Nobble who replaces injured Francis Uzoho.
The Liberia versus Nigeria game will be played at the Grand Stade Tangier with the last game of the stage against Cape Verde to be played at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos on Tuesday, 16 November 2021.
The Eagles lead Group C of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Africa with nine points after three games. A win and a draw in both matches will guarantee their passage to the last qualification stages of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
