16-Year Old Amaechina, Scores Nine A1s In 2023 WASSCE

Amaechina Chimbusonma Nwadiuto, a remarkable student from Regina Pacis Girls’ Secondary School in Garki, Abuja, and indigene of Anambra State in Southeast Nigeria, is making waves in the academic world.

With an exceptional achievement in this year’s West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), she has become a strong contender for the prestigious National Merit Award.

Aged 16 and hailing from Anambra State, Miss Amaechina has achieved an astonishing feat by securing A1 grades in all nine subjects she undertook during the examination.

The subjects in which she achieved distinctions include Data Processing, Christian Religious Studies, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  Miss Amaechina’s academic prowess extends beyond the WASSCE. She also obtained an impressive score of 313 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

She aims to study Medicine at the University of Abuja. Proudly speaking about her daughter’s achievements, Mrs. Ijeoma Amaechina, highlighted that Miss Amaechina has consistently held the top position in her class since her primary school days.

Mrs. Amaechina praised her daughter’s determination, describing her as a go-getter who sets her mind on achieving her goals. Beyond her academic prowess, Miss Amaechina possesses a love for singing and forming connections with others, making her a well-rounded and talented individual.
