Hon. Tajudeen Abbas has emerged as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the 10th National Assembly.

Abbas, who is from Zaria Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, defeated his rivals, Ahmed Wase and Sani Jaji, in the speakership election that took place on Tuesday.
