The lecturers in their March 2, 2022 Resolution, following a Congress Meeting held at the Abdullahi Smith Lecture Theatre, accused Governor El-Rufai of ”utterly disregarding” a court order and going ahead to seize lands at the Mando College of Agriculture and Animal Science.
The Resolution, a copy of which was obtained by Prime Business Africa late Thursday night, was co-signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the ABU Zaria Chapter of ASUU, Haruna M. Jibril and Hussein A. Abdullahi.
ASUU said the Kaduna State governor, ”in utter disregard of an order by a competent court of law”, took over lands belonging to the Ahmadu Bello University, ”an institution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a historic and premier university.
