Uzodinma Shuts Access, First Banks For Observing Sit-At-Home Order

Imo state Government has shut down Access and First Banks for observing the Monday sitathome order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has directed that all financial institutions that did not operate on Monday, be shut down and sealed.

The sit-at-home order have allegedly paralyzed major commercial activities in the state.

Currently, a litre of fuel sells at 250 naira and petrol stations are battling long queues, due to inability to restock as at when due.

However, it remains uncertain how long the sit-at-home order of the IPOB would be observed, as residents are yet to defeat apprehension, despite the IPOB  announcing its cancellation.
