US Cessna Plane Crash Kills Trump Donor’s Family Members

US officials on Monday morning confirmed the crash over Washington of a Cessna Citation aircraft carrying four passengers who were later confirmed to be family members of John Rumpel, a prominent Florida businessman and MAGA donor.

Make America Great Again” or MAGA is an American political slogan which was popularized by Donald Trump during his successful 2016 presidential campaign.

On Twitter, the National Transportation Safety Board said it’s investigating the crash. The agency said it will begin “the process of documenting the scene and examining the aircraft” when it gets to the scene on Monday.

The incident is the second time in one year that a light aircraft will be crashing somewhere in the U.S. Last year, a stunning video showed a Florida Cessna plane crashing onto Orlando Road in Florida.

United States’ scrambled F-16 fighter jets were earlier reported to have been on supersonic chase of the light aircraft with an unresponsive pilot. The pilot was seen to have violated airspace around Washington D.C. but later crashed into the mountains of Virginia, according to Reuters report.

Subsequent reports indicate that the pilot lost consciousness.

First responders who made it to the crash seen could not find any survivors, according to Virginia state police.

The jet fighters created a sonic boom over the U.S. capital as they pursued the errant Cessna Citation, officials said, causing apprehension among people in the Washington area.

All four people onboard the Cessna, which has capacity to carry 12 passengers, were members of Encore owner, John Rumpel’s family. The Cessna was registered to Encore Motors of Melbourne, Florida, according to the flight-tracking website Flight Aware.

Rumpel said his daughter, a grandchild and her nanny were on board.

“We know nothing about the crash,” he continued.

“We are talking to the FAA now. … I’ve got to keep the line clear.”
