In a statement issued on Sunday February 27, 2022, titled “public Travel Advisory”, the embassy located in Budapest, capital of Hungary, said the country has enacted a law known as “Decree 56/2022 (24.11)” which permits third country nationals with valid Ukrainian resident permits to enter Hungary on a temporal basis without “Schengen Visa.”
The embassy said Nigerians living in Ukraine who are coming to the Hungary-Ukraine border can enter Hungary either on transit or for temporal stay pending when the crisis subsides.
