Tuchel Handed One Match Suspension, To Miss Leicester Game

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel on Friday lost his appeal against his one-match following his touchline bust up with Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte.

Both tactician were involved in an altercation but Tuchel was rightly deemed as the instigator of the ‘fight’ after he forcefully pulled the hand of Conte who had offered him a nonchalant handshake after the 2-2 draw.

German Tuchel insisted that Conte did not look him into the eye as he exchanged pleasantries which culminated in the £35,000 fine on Tuchel and £15,000 fine handed to Conte.

They were on the dugout for their feams’ lady elaguevgsems while their case was reviews by the appeals board.

The appeal board’s decision was handed down on Friday and Tuchel also will still have to pay a fine of 35,000 pounds ($41,000) which he condemned during his pre match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

Conte did not receive a ban after Friday’s ruling.
