Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Serie A side Udinese for the signing of Nigerian-born Italian, Destiny Udogie.
Udogie is a promising left back who has declared that he “feels more Italian than Nigerian” after efforts to convince him to play for the country of his parents at international level.
On Monday evening a deal was struck between both sides and it is agreed that the youngster will sign a five-year contract but return to Udinese for a loan spell for the rest of the season.
The defender of Nigerian descent could then head back to N17 next summer.
The deal is reportedly worth over €20m after personal terms are put in place.
