Senior government officials, led by Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), met the president when his official aircraft, Nigeria Air Force 1, landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Monday afternoon.

Honorable Femi Gbajabiamila, the president’s chief of staff, Senator Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, Bello Matawalle, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Nuhu Ribadu, the national security adviser, were among the other high-ranking government officials present at the airport to receive the president.

Others were the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi; and other security chiefs.

During the summit, President Tinubu was appointed by the AU as its Champion for Human Resources for Health and Community Health Delivery Partnership.
