Tech Expert, Nwoye, Criticises Buhari, INEC Over Tinubu’s Victory

The founder of TechCircle, Oo Nwoye, has criticised how the Presidential election was held in Nigeria, which led to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, emerging as the winner.

Nwoye is a popular tech consultant in the African tech space, helping founders to build tech-enabled businesses/startups by providing the necessary tools.

His startup has helped Facebook, Microsoft, YCombinator and UK Nigeria Tech Hub amongst others to organise events that seek to assist African startups to grow their idea or innovation.

Recall that Tinubu had contested the presidential election with Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

Tinubu won the election with 8,794,726 votes, Atiku recorded 6,984,520 votes, and Obi scored 6,101, 533 votes during the election that was held between Saturday and Sunday, 25 and 26 February 2023.

Addressing the election on his Twitter platform, Nwoye said he’s certain that Tinubu won’t be sworn in on 29 May 2023 despite being announced as the president.

“Despite what the most corrupt and partial umpire @inecnigeria Mahmood Yakubu, has declared, I believe come May 29th 2023, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will NOT be sworn in as President of Nigeria.

“The will of Nigerians will prevail in the end. I believe it,” Nwoye tweeted.

The tech expert also criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stating that: “Muhammadu Buhari has fulfilled his destiny of being a misfortune to Nigeria from start to finish. Beginning to the end. Or as he likes to say it, top to bottom.”

He went on to tweet that: “Nigeria will be cleansed of his evil as she is greater than any individual. Aluta continua

“The real dark horse of the 2023 elections is INEC & Yakubu Mahmood.

“Using a corrupt umpire to rig elections is not knowing “the game”. It’s vote rigging. Similar to Yahoo being theft and NOT work. And runs being prostitution and NOT hustle.” He wrote on Twitter.
